Modern Woodmen of America, Rock Island, Illinois, has appointed Jason V. Nickles, Bettendorf, Iowa, as chief fraternal officer and vice president, effective Jan. 7.
Jason began his Modern Woodmen career in January 2000. He’s held various roles in the fraternal financial services organization’s Field Education, Fraternal, and Field Development departments, including service as assistant to the fraternal director and divisional field manager. He became manager of Education and Training in 2016 and was named assistant to the chief fraternal officer in September 2023.
Jason earned a bachelor's degree in human resources and business communications from the University of Northern Iowa and holds a master’s degree in education from Marycrest College. His professional designations include Chartered Life Underwriter, Chartered Financial Consultant, Fraternal Insurance Counselor Fellow and Fraternal Financial Services Counselor.
